I am really not a lover of the libre free style, so I am hoping that love my libre helps solve the problem of keeping this great idea a workable product.

Whilst my Libre2 sensors are, fortunately, free on the NHS one still feels bereft when you lose one by inadvertently knocking it off! I've lost a few; squeezing into the car and hitting the top of the door, reaching for very hard to reach items in the supermarket and catching it on the shelf. NO MORE! Whilst looking cool (whilst not always visible unless wearing short sleeves) the armband is easy to fit snuggly over the sensor and doesn't move until you want it to. Obviously (and importantly) scanning the sensor with your phone is no different to scanning without the band on. RECOMMENDED!

Best thing Ive ever had to keep it on xxx

I got my Libre, 2 weeks ago. I invested in a Love My Libre, to wear when I go to bed. It's so comfortable, you don't even realise you're wearing it. It gives me peace of mind, that I'm not going to knock the sensor off, as I'm quite a restless sleeper. ❤😎

Best thing to hold the libra 2 on.

I want to thank you as I hade tried to hold my Libra 2 on with plasters and I was always knocking it off on doorways, but with this I have not knocked it off once, I keep it on all day, but don't get it wet as still checking out its weaknesses, which I do not think it has any. Comfortable to wear, and can tighten or loosen, I hardly know it is on and people have asked what it is so it highlights diabetes and have had several conversations about what it is and why I have it. Thank you once again I will be ordering another soon.

Frequenty Asked Questions

Wearing a Libreband or Dexband will help to protect a sensor from the friction caused by swimming and being in water, such as in a hot tub. The cover and neoprene armband are themselves water-resistant, however, the product does not provide any additional waterproof protection to the Libre sensor - nor do stickers or patches.

Love My Libre customers include competitive athletes, who have worn our armbands for swimming and water activities and have found it helpful for protection and in giving them confidence in water whilst wearing a sensor, especially when doing so for an extended period.

Yes,  you can easily scan through the cover, just as it can scan through clothing. Wearing a Libreband does not affect the performance of a Libre sensor or the ability to scan to get glucose levels.

The armbands sold by Love My Libre can be washed in lukewarm water. Add a little liquid soap if needed, but avoid rubbing the neoprene. The strap will usually air-dry in around 20 minutes.

Our Libreband and Dexband straps are made from a neoprene fabric which contains rubber, Styrene Butadiene Rubber, (SBR) sandwiched with polyester spandex, and therefore does not contain latex. However, the rubber is stuck together with adhesives which might cause a reaction in some circumstances.

We do not accept any liability for any adverse reaction to the use of the product and you are advised to seek medical advice to assess suitability if you have allergies or are susceptible to any skin irritation.
