How to 'Go Bionic'
Beta Bionics iLet Bionic Pancreas

This month Beta Bionics have announced that the iLet Bionic Pancreas will integrate with Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor.

The iLet, an autonomous insulin delivery system, is the first such system in the US to connect to the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor. Readings every minute from the sensor will help the iLet calculate insulin doses for users, reducing reliance on carb counting and the need to calculate corrections.
“With our recent launch of the Bionic Circle remote monitoring app, our latest updates to the iLet app, and today’s launch of the iLet integration with Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor, we are focused on providing major product enhancements to make diabetes management even easier for our users and their families.”

Current iLet users can simply update their app and software to enable the integration with Libre 3 Plus sensors.

Beta Bionics recently launched the Bionic Circle App, enabling users to invite up to 10 friends and family members to remotely monitor their CGM readings and insulin doses. Bionic Circle members can receive alerts and view an iLet user’s glucose levels, meal announcements, insulin doses, and trends around the clock. Whether the iLet user is at school, a friend’s house, work, traveling, or at home, friends and family can rely on the Bionic Circle App to see that the iLet is handling 100% of the user’s dosing decisions.

With less decisions to make, users of the Beta Bionics system are encouraged to 'Go Bionic'!
