Bonfire Night Bangers and Carb Counting!

  • 2 min read

Our Bonfire Night quick guide to the carb content of typical foods sold at a Firework Display.

Happy Bonfire Night

If you’re planning on going to a Firework Display, it’s likely you’ll be tempted by the food offerings although the range of options can often be fairly limited. It can also be tricky to count the carbs, which aren’t usually listed on a menu (or even available) if you’re buying from a burger van or temporary stand!

We’ve saved you time this Bonfire Night with our quick guide to the carb content of foods you would typically see at this type of event.

Don’t forget to wrap up and keep warm including keeping your diabetes tech and equipment from getting too cold. Remember, the operating temperature for a Freestyle Libre is 10OC and 45OC and Dexcom 10OC and 42OC.

We hope this is helpful and that you enjoy the firework display. Have fun!
