-
Proven results: Clinical studies have demonstrated that using Dexcom glucose sensors, including Stelo, can lower A1c and reduce cardiovascular risk markers within as little as three months. For people with Type 2 diabetes, Dexcom sensors have been linked to improved health outcomes and may slow the progression of the disease.
Thomas Grace, MD, head of clinical advocacy and outcomes at Dexcom, stated, “Dexcom glucose biosensors are a proven tool for diabetes management, showing strong clinical outcomes regardless of whether patients are on medication. There’s evidence to suggest these sensors may even slow the progression of diabetes.” With the increasing use of medications like GLP-1 receptor agonists, Dr. Grace highlighted how glucose biosensors, including Stelo, can complement these treatments, potentially enhancing their effectiveness.
