CE Mark for Medtronic's Simplera CGM

Medtronic are set to launch their Simplera sensor having being awarded a CE mark for marketing the CGM in the EU.
The Simplera is the successor to the Guardian 4 and brings a change of shape as well as being smaller and slimmer. Its USP ie. unique feature, is that it integrates with the Inpen smart insulin pen which provides real-time insulin dosing guidance. The company are also keen to point out that no overtape is needed.
It looks very much like a potential competitor to Freestyle Libre and Dexcom.
