The Omnipod 5 which has been awarded a European CE mark. Insulet announced that it will be marketed in Europe from mid-2023 although it’s not yet known which countries will be prioritised.

A recent statistical reminder by Partha Kar (NHS Diabetes Specialist) shows that type 1 diabetes isn't a condition that only affects the young and in fact over 60% of those struggling with diabetes management are over 40 years old!

GLUCOMEN DAY PRICES
As previously reported, GlucoMen Day CGM will be available on prescription (subject to areas putting it on their prescribing list) from September 2022. The cost to the NHS is slightly less than Libre and Dexcom ONE at £67 for a pack of 2 (ie. £33.50 each).
